Q. Tell us something about you – your philosophy, your lifestyle, your ethics, your hobbies etc.
A. I am a retired accountant now developing a new business involving internet marketing and web site building. My philosophy is very much about helping others to achieve their full potential. If I can do this, it is a win-win, as I get a great kick out of seeing others improve and develop through my influence.

Living in rural Victoria (100km east of Melbourne) I get the best of both worlds. We have clean air, a beautiful property and yet we are only an hour or so (on a good day) from the ‘Big Smoke’. With my wonderful wife Barbara, we have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who we both absolutely dote over, as well as a Rag Doll cat. I guess we are both a bit freaky about animals. I cannot imagine life without our ‘furry family’.

Q. What is it that your business does?
A. Money Marketing & Me is a course developed by Barbara and me to help the ordinary guy get a solid grasp on internet article marketing and how it can generate income as well as improve your web rankings. It is a step by step programme over 8 weeks that guides you through the maze of information, enabling you to build an effective web site that is SEO optimised and targeted for business..

Q. Do you work from home?
  How many do you employ?
A. Yes we work from home – who wouldn’t when you live in such a beautiful area. We employ a part-time admin assistant when needed.

Q. How long have you been in business?
A. 2 years

Q. What makes your business unique?
A. Money Marketing & Me (MMM) is specifically designed to give participants the ‘Full Story’. No important steps are left out (as with many other programmes) and the result is a course that takes you from start to finish, but one that you can tackle in your own time frame, as it is delivered via the web.

A. Keyword optimisation

ADVICE
Q. What is the most helpful piece of advice you could give to other businesses?
A. Belong to a group of like-minded business people. You will be surprised how much you will gain from interacting with them. I belong to both Home Based Business Australia and MCEI. Also attend as many seminars etc as you can, to build your networking contacts and gather info. Don’t forget to keep up your training. Online programmes I have participated in have opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

A. Advice and support; promotion and referrals; training. All offered in a caring and friendly atmosphere.

A. I hold the Executive position of Treasurer. I have also invested my own money into HBBA to help it get established. I built and maintain the HBBA web site.

MILESTONES
