Keyword Optimisation
Most of us understand that we must have the pages on our websites keyword optimised if we wish to increase our
ranking with the search engines and consequently increase traffic to our websites.
But many have not grasped that it is not our choice of keywords that is important. It is the words that visitors
to Google search on. We are trying to optimise our keywords to suit the customers needs (not our choice – their
choice!)
Another problem is that on any one page, one long tailed keyword should be used at a saturation level of around
1%-2%. Many of us throw a series of keywords on to the one page – not wise!
And it is most important to pick a word with a search volume that is not too high. The higher the search volume,
the less likely you are of being found.
The videos below will not only explain exactly how to get your keyword optimisation correct, but they will
actually show you how to do it! The Mindmap will give you a total picture of ‘what’ and ‘why’.
