Q. Tell us something about you – your philosophy, your lifestyle, your ethics, your hobbies etc.
A.
 I love helping people. I’ve been a teacher, Principal and Senior manager, and worked with UNESCO. I value education: it opens up new opportunities. I have a passion for inclusive, strong leadership by example, where people work and grow together professionally and personally. I value integrity and openness. Music, travel, cricket and the Kangaroos are great loves.

BUSINESS DETAILS
Q. What is it that your business does?
A.
 I offer expertise in professional/website writing, editing, preparing job applications, MC, facilitator, and training in leadership and public speaking. I specialise in writing Seniors’ life stories, for them to give ‘This is My Life’ booklets to family members and friends. I’m a qualified practising Celebrant for weddings and funerals.

Q. What makes your business services unique?
A.
 Probably the excellent rapport that quickly develops with clients. I am highly experienced and successful across several fields, giving a huge knowledge resource. Clients are directly involved, to achieve professional outcomes. We enjoy fantastic feedback, repeat business and referrals.

MARKETING
Q. What is the most important Marketing/Networking tool/strategy your business of providing services has had success with?
A.
 The Internet has opened up a potentially huge range of opportunities to link with other people, for mutual benefit e.g. websites, email, Facebook, Blogs and forums, Linked In, networks, etc. Additionally, word of mouth and carefully selected promotional opportunities in print media have all been highly valued.

SUPPORT
Q. What is it you are looking for as a member of HBBA?
A.
  Networking opportunities, fellowship, mutual discussions on matters of common interest, new ideas, supporting other HBBA members, using others as a bouncing board for my ideas, etc. I’d be very happy to help members develop and expand their internet marketing strategies.

Q. What is it you can offer to HBBA members?
A.
  A lifetime of experience has given me an excellent understanding of how people ‘operate’, and I have well developed views on leadership and management styles. I also have extensive experience in a broad range of leadership roles in a range of countries, and worked with national and international governments at the highest level, especially in policy development.

Q. How do you envisage demonstrating your support and loyalty to the association of HBBA?
A.
  I’ll support it by participating in online forums, attending seminars, and communicating with others!
